How to Get Furniture Reupholstered At Bridge Upholstery & Drapery

We would love to help you out with the your reupholstery project!  The easiest way to make contact with us is to fill out our contact form that will send us an email or to contact us by text at 417-429-1243.  

If you are contacting us by email, just fill out the form and attach a photo or two of your furniture.  

If you are contacting us by text, please send us a few pictures of your furniture from the front, side and back and please include your name.

No matter if you’re contacting us by email or text, please send a brief description of what you’d like to have done with your furniture.  Does it need the wood refinished?  Does it need the frame stabilized?  How about the padding and cushions?  Does the cushion need to be replaced?  Does it need new padding in the back or on the arms?  Are there any springs that you know need to be repaired?   Or is it a fairly new piece of furniture that you just want to update with new fabric?  Send us a text or email with all of this information and we’ll get back to you with a labor estimate.  

We appreciate your calls to our business, but we really are able to give you the best service and the most accurate answers if you will send us photos of your furniture before we talk.

Once we establish an estimate for upholstery labor, our next step will be to decide on the fabric.  Bridge Upholstery & Drapery has an amazing fabric library full of fabrics that are specially designed to withstand the demands of upholstery.  If you agree with the labor estimate, the next step will be to make an appointment to find a fabric.  We will send you our available days and times.  At our meeting, within about an hour, we’ll find fabric options and prepare an estimate for your project.

Often times we will find several fabrics that could work.  We’ll allow you to take the samples home and look at them with your existing furniture in your lighting and space.  This helps to make sure the the fabric you pick is the right one for your furniture.  

Once you’ve chosen your fabric and returned the fabric samples to us, we’ll prepare a finalized estimate.  If you approve the estimate, we’ll prepare a 50% deposit invoice that can be paid by check, bank transfer, credit card (for a small convenience fee) or cash.  Once we receive your deposit, we’ll get your fabric ordered and put you on our project list.  We are currently about 24 weeks from starting any new upholstery projects. 

We’ll contact you a few weeks before we’re ready to work on your furniture.  We have a mover and can arrange for pick up and delivery in the local area or you are free to bring the furniture in yourselves.  Once we receive your furniture, we’ll get to work on the reupholstery project!  The remainder of your balance will not be due until the furniture is finished. 

How to Get Help with your Window Projects at Bridge Upholstery and Drapery

At our first drapery consultation meetings, we’ll help you choose the best window treatment for your windows.  Bridge Upholstery & Drapery has an amazing selection of drapery fabrics.  We’ll help you find beautiful fabrics and let you take them home to look at them in your home and with your existing paint and furniture.  If you’re choosing draperies, we’ll help you find just the right hardware and style for your drapery.  Once you’ve chosen your type of window treatments, we’ll come out and take measurements of your windows and begin work on an estimate.  

Once you’ve chosen your window treatments, we’ll prepare a finalized estimate.  If you approve the estimate, we’ll prepare a 50% deposit invoice that can be paid by check, bank transfer, credit card (for a small convenience fee) or cash.  Once we receive your deposit, we’ll get your project supplies (drapery fabric, hardware, shades or shutters) ordered and put you on our project list.

The final balance won’t be due until we complete our professional drapery and window treatment installation at your home.
